Franklinton Middle School is located at 3 North Main Street in Downtown Franklinton, NC. This building was most recently known as Franklinton High School until the building of a new high school facility in 2011. This historic county landmark was constructed in 1923 and originally housed all grade levels with elementary being on the first floor, middle on the second, and high school on the third. FMS was a gift to the town of Franklinton by Samuel C. Vann, owner of the Sterling Cotton Mill in Franklinton.
